Duel at eye level – Judo Austria

206 starters from a total of 54 clubs took part in the Austrian under-16 championships in Krems. ASKÖ Reichraming (Upper Austria) and Judo Union Klosterneuburg (Lower Austria) were each able to celebrate 3 titles. “The level of the fights was really impressive. With Mavie Rabl (-63), Kathrin Mikota (-52) and Christoph Vakil (-46) there were also three under-18 champions at the start, but only Mavie then took gold,” said national coach Martin Grafl. A good 500 spectators ensured a sold-out hall and a correspondingly good atmosphere.
