Davis is also willing to indemnify Dan Snyder as a condition of his offer, according to the March 21 letter, which means that Davis is willing to assume any legal liability related to Dan Snyder and the ongoing investigations into the team.

Who is Brian Davis?

Brian Davis would become the NFL’s first African-American owner in case of reaching an agreement with Snyder. Davis is a former Duke University basketball player who went on to play for the Minnesota Timberwolves from 1993 to 1994. He is the owner of Urban Echo Energy LLC, a developer of renewable energy assets, and a former minority partner of DC United.
