MLB.TV: Stream baseball games live and for free

While the sports leagues in Europe rely almost exclusively on cooperation with streaming services and TV broadcasters, US sports are now increasingly offering their own streaming services. For example, the NFL football league offers the NFL Game Pass, while the NHL ice hockey league has the NHL.tv streaming service. In addition to partners, the MLB also relies on its own streaming service.

At MLB.tv fans get access to a variety of baseball-related content for a monthly fee. In addition to live broadcasts, this also includes, for example, game summaries, reports about the league, a look behind the scenes as well as preliminary and follow-up reports. For many fans, the most important content is of course the live games. Precisely because the MLB does not yet have the status of other sports leagues in this country, it can sometimes be difficult to follow the matches of your favorite team. With MLB.tv, these problems are becoming a thing of the past.

In contrast to the NFL Game Pass, where really all NFL games per season are shown, there are a few restrictions on MLB.tv. The streaming service only offers games for which no other provider in Germany has already acquired the rights. If you still want to watch these broadcasts, you must also use the corresponding broadcaster or streaming service.
