As the portal has leaked Footy Headlines, LaLiga will abandon the design in force since 2015 to make way for a more modern and monochrome logo. In addition, the championship will be renamed LaLiga EA Sports FC. It is the third different name in the First Division after the sponsorships of the BBVA and Santander banks.
The current logo found its way onto the t-shirts in 2015keeping the ball and the seven goals with the colors of the rainbow, but substituting the classic LFP (Professional Soccer League) under the new trade name (LaLiga).
New numbers
In addition, teams will wear a new bib typography. Since 2017, all First and Second Division teams have used the same font, just as it did in England. Although there is nothing official yet, everything indicates that the numbers will be similar to the font chosen for the new logo.
