The opponents of the National Men’s Basketball Team to compete in the Olympic Qualification Tournament to be hosted by Turkey on August 12-20 have been determined.
According to the statement made by the Turkish Basketball Federation, the crescent-star team that participated in the 2nd bag in the draw held in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, matched with Ukraine, Bulgaria and Iceland in Group C.

The Olympic qualifiers in Europe will consist of two separate tournaments.
While 16 countries from Europe were placed in two separate tournaments, 8 countries determined within the scope of the tournament to be hosted by Sinan Erdem Sports Hall will compete in two separate four-team groups. The top two teams in their groups will qualify for the semi-finals. The country that completes the tournament as the champion will participate in the FIBA Olympic Qualification.
In addition to Turkey, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Czechia, Estonia, Croatia, Netherlands, Israel, Sweden, Iceland, North Macedonia, Hungary, Poland, Portugal and Ukraine will participate in the FIBA Olympic Qualification Tournament from Europe.
24 teams will take part in the Olympic qualifiers. The 24 teams that will compete in the qualifying tournaments will be divided into 4 separate tournaments with six teams each. The winner of each tournament will qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The Olympic games will be held in Paris, France, from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
