Bola.com, Phnom Penh – The U-22 Singapore National Team failed to take advantage of a golden opportunity to win in the third match in Group B SEA Games 2023.
The Young Lions could only draw 0-0 against the Laos U-22 national team at Prince Stadium, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Saturday (6/5/2023) evening WIB.
In fact, Singapore U-22 really needs a win in this match to maintain hope of qualifying for the semifinals. In the two previous matches, Nicky Melvin Singh et al. already lost.
This draw resulted in the U-22 Singapore National Team being eliminated from the group stage SEA Games 2023. They can only collect one point from three matches.
The U-22 Lao National Team also experienced a similar fate. They certainly will not advance to the semifinals SEA Games 2023. However, Laos’ elimination was predicted from the start.
