South Württemberg individual championships: podium finishes for Laupheim judoka

Don’t worry – it’s not a déjà vu, nor has a year passed: For the second time this year, the young judoka Emilia Juhas, Elisabeth Müller and Therese Pfeil fought at the South Württemberg Individual Championships. This time, however, in the under 13 age group in Kirchheim unter Teck on Saturday, May 6th.

Elisabeth Müller fought in the weight class up to 27 kg. In her first and only fight, she lost to her opponent, but due to the lack of other opponents, she immediately took second place.

Emilia Juhas started in the weight class up to 36 kg. After she had already secured the title of the southern Württemberg individual champion under 11 in March, she fought extremely confidently this time as well. Emilia Juhas won all four fights prematurely and again took first place.

Therese Pfeil fought in the weight class up to 40 kg. She won her first fight prematurely with the highest rating Ippon. She lost the second fight against the future champion. She lost her last fight by a judge’s decision after the fight time had expired. Therese Pfeil took third place.

Unlike in the under-11 age group, the girls are now in the next round: They all qualified for the Württemberg individual championships on May 21 in Schwieberdingen and will meet their North-Württemberg opponents there.
