In the world, I think that many people enjoy traveling and leisure when they say Golden Week.
However, speaking of Golden Week for club activities, it is a great opportunity to train your mind and body through expeditions and training camps.
This time, I would like to closely follow Kaisei Judo Club’s Golden Week.
The Kaisei Judo Club held a training camp at a high school in Fukuoka Prefecture from May 3rd to 5th for 3 days and 2 nights.
From morning practice at 6:30 in the morning to practice at 8:00 in the evening, the schedule was tightly arranged, and I was able to push my mind and body firmly.
In addition, we have to do things that our families take for granted, such as preparing meals, tidying up, washing and cleaning.
Moreover, if you don’t act quickly, you won’t have time to rest.
We asked Mr. Kanaya, who participated in the expedition as a junior high school student, about his impressions.
“It was very stimulating to be able to practice with high school students from other schools. At the dormitory, there were 10 of us in a large room. Everything was new during the expedition, and it was a really good experience,” he said with a smile.
In the training camp, it is important not only to strengthen physical strength, but also to polish humanity through group living.
I think I was able to grow both physically and mentally through these three days.
On the last day of the 6th, I went to Fukuoka University for a training session. I was able to gain the valuable experience of standing up against many throws, borrowing from university students who were much bigger and stronger than me.
I would like you to cherish this experience, which you can only have now, as you approach the high and middle sotai.
Do your best, Kaisei Judo Club! !
