UCI Mountain Bike World Series 2023: follow the Nove Mesto men’s cross country short track live video

19h06 : The Briton hid well before emerging on the last lap and winning ahead of Samuel Gaze (2nd, New Zealand) and Luca Schwarzbauer (3rd, Germany). First Frenchman of the day, Jordan Sarrou finished 8th.

7:05 p.m .: Victory for Tom Pidcock (Great Britain)!!

19h05 : Pidcock acceleration!

19h04 : Fall back! And Pidcock who is back in 2nd position! It’s all about sprinting!

7:03 p.m.: Last lap! Schwarzbauer leads the leading group!

7:02 p.m .: Oh Pidcock who goes back to 5th place! The Brit resurfaces at the best of times!

7:01 p.m .: Only two more laps to cover! The peloton is still dense and compact!

19h00 : Schurter takes advantage of the climb to get back in the wheel of Schwarzbauer. The veteran is well in the game for the win.

6:59 p.m .: Pidcock is only 22nd with three laps to go… On the other hand, it’s all good for Sarrou who clings to the top 5!

18h58 : Braidot (Italy) took the lead with four laps to go. Sarrou is in the top 5.

18h56 : Sarrou shows up on the climb but Schwarzbauer continues to impress and passes the summit in the lead.

18h55 : Schwarzbauer took control five laps from the finish. But we are still on a very tactical waiting race.

6:54 p.m .: It’s coming from behind with Pidcock entering the top 15 halfway through the race!

18h53 : Sarrou wins a place on the embankment and passes fourth.

6:52 p.m .: Valero decides to take control after the fourth lap! Sarrou (5th) is the only Habs present in the top ten.

6:35 p.m.: PIDCOCK IS HERE:

Olympic champion in the discipline, the Briton is present for the opening of the World Cup. The versatile talent of Ineos will start at the back of the grid (at the cost of an express draft) but there is no doubt that he will be able to find a place at the front, as usual. He will have to compose for the win with the indestructible Nino Schurter and the Spaniard David Valero.

6:30 p.m : LE FORMAT SHORT TRACK :

The short track offers a shortened race format, often subject to more tension. The effort is about twenty minutes, during which the riders will loop around fifteen laps of the route drawn in the undergrowth of Nove Mesto.

18h26 : THE FRENCH DEPARTURE:

They will be five French at the start on Friday. Second in the 2022 World Cup, Titouan Carod will start on the front line. He will be accompanied by Jordan Sarrou, Joshua Dubau, Maxime Marotte and Thomas Griot.
