Friday it was direction Vendée for Pierre, Réjane, Qassim and Zian. After 8 hours of travel and a good night’s sleep, the boys started the competition. After two clear rounds, Qassim and Zian grabbed the best of medals and each won 120 points for the Ranking list. After skipping a round since he was seeded Qassim won his quarter and half before appearing in the final against an opponent ahead of him in the ranking. Zian, on the other hand, started his competition in the round of 16 and achieved a 5/5 to win the gold medal.
Pierre meanwhile adorned himself with the bronze medal, after winning his 32nd and 16th finals he lost in his 8th finals but was able to re-mobilize to get this medal through the repechages. After the boys, it was Réjane who won a medal, the bronze one. She, who had started with a defeat in the quarter, managed to clear her head and stay focused to snatch her place on the podium.
