When Pep Guardiola reframes one of his players after the slap inflicted on Real

Manchester City, the team coached by Pep Guardiola, rolled over Real Madrid last night (4-0) and qualified for the Champions League final.

There was reason to be euphoric on the side of Manchester City after this magnificent victory. Jack Grealish was also very excited after the match, considering that his team was “just unstoppable”.

“I don’t think many teams could do that at Real Madrid. But when we play like that, especially here (at the Etihad Stadium, nes), I don’t know why but I saw a statistic recently on the number of matches we have won at home in the Champions League (24 matches out of the last 26 played) and here we are just unstoppable, we feel invincible,” Grealish told BT Sports after the match.

Guardiola then cropped his left winger. “I don’t like it, no. Every team can be stopped if they do their thing. It’s good that the players feel it, but football can change from game to game. You have to stay calm.”

“At home we feel incredibly comfortable in front of our home crowd. I felt like we had to endure a year of suffering after (the loss to Real) last year. It was so painful, when people criticized the lack of personality of the players. A year later, we show again how special this group of players is”, added the Catalan.
