With 52 goals in 51 games in the season, Erling Haaland was named the best player of 2022-23 by the Football Writers’ Association of England.
The election takes place since the 40s and has more than 400 journalists voting for the best player of the season in England.
Haaland, just 22 years old, is in his first season for Manchester City and English football. In addition to the title of Premier Leaguehe scored 36 goals in 35 appearances in the competition and could still win the Champions League, where City will face Inter Milan on 10 June.
