Miami lives in euphoria after getting into the NBA Finals, and it will be even more so if the return of Tyler Herro is confirmed to face the Denver Nuggets in the final battle for the ring.
If we learned a few days ago that the forward had returned to training, now it is Chris B. Haynes of Bleacher Report who sheds some more light on the physical condition of the Heat player, who has not played since Game 1 of the first playoff tie against the Milwaukee Bucks, when he suffered a broken right hand.
According to the aforementioned journalist, Herro is intensifying training and is expected to return at some point during the NBA Finals, with Game 3 being the likely target according to league sources.
While Herro’s return to court may be a determining factor in the Finals between Miami and Denver, it remains to be seen how he would fit into Erik Spoelstra’s rotation. The Heat coach has found a near-perfect balance with the pieces used in recent weeks, and changing the rotation could affect that. We all know the qualities of Herro, but it is not as simple as putting him to play and hoping that everything works.
