The judo “International JuniorSenior Grand Prix” was archived in recent days in Perugia. Dozens and dozens of athletes from all over Italy challenged each other on the tatami. And among them was a Prato delegation from the Judo Academy. Starting with the athletes who, thanks to their performances, ensured that the club took second place in the club rankings. The best result went to Anita Cantini, able to climb the top step in the “-57 kg” category. The performance of teammate Martina Cocco was more than positive, as she came close to the title in the “-78 kg” category by surrendering at the end of the final (conquering a silver medal). Micaela Ingrassia and Benedetta Capponi took part in the Umbrian away match, seventh in their respective races.
