The Portuguesa FC announced this Friday the hiring of three new footballers to strengthen its ranks in the second stage of the Futve League with the aim of fighting for the title.
During a press conference they announced that these figures are midfielder Johan Moreno from Ureña SC, winger Manuel Granados from Trujillanos FC and Darvis Rodríguez who played with Deportivo Lara until 2022..
In the presentation it was announced that Gerzon Chacón will become the new general manager of the organization to try to improve the performance shown in the first half of the tournament.
The team president, Myker Frías, was happy with the arrival of Chacón to his ranks and considered that he will be an important figure within the management body to take the Portuguesa to new horizons.

“The idea is to push everyone forward to be in the positions they should be and get into the International Cup, but for that we must work hard. There are many ideas to implement from the minor categories to the first team. We have to generate confidence in Portuguesa FC so that the players come to wear these colors”, expressed Chacón.
The new general manager will replace Edwar Herrera, who left his job a couple of weeks ago for not meeting the institution’s expectations.
