Tobías Vidal won the silver medal in the Pan American Judo Cup – El Periódico

Tobias Vidal won the silver medal for the Judo Pan American Cup that takes place this week in Carlos Paz.

The judoka from San Francisco, a member of the Dojo Maldonado de Córdoba, was once again on the podium of the Cadet category up to 66 kg. Days ago he had obtained the same result in the National Opening held in Formosa and also in the Provincial.

Vidal comes from participating in an international campus developed last week at CeNARD (National Center for High Performance Sports) in Buenos Aires. It was within the framework of the DAR (High Performance Development) program carried out by the National Entity for High Performance Sports (ENARD) and its objective is to promote and accompany young Argentine athletes with national and international projection.

Vidal tHe is also Junior provincial champion up to 66kg and Senior up to 66g.

The local judoka’s agenda will continue with his participation in the Centro República tournament that will be held in Carlos Paz and in the South American tournament that will take place in Asunción, Paraguay in mid-August.
