Christo Popov eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Singapore Open

The Singapore Open ended in the quarter-finals for Christo Popov. The French was beaten on Friday by the Thai Kunlavut Vitidsarn, who has just reached 3rd place in the world rankings. A defeat in two sets (13-21, 17-21) and forty minutes during which the mastery of the net by the opponent will have been decisive.

Christo Popov will travel this weekend to Jakarta where the Indonesia Open will be held next week (Super 1000 tournament). Depending on the entrants, he could join the men’s doubles table with his brother Toma Junior, who will also play singles as the 25th player in the world. Christo’s participation in the SH will also depend on the other entrants.
