Judo champion Denis Braidotti, former coach of the Maltese national team, is in the city these days to get a close-up view of the sporting activities for inclusion conducted by the Orizzonte association. Yesterday he was at the gymnasium of the “Don Bosco” institute in via Fuentes, where the Gela athletes conducted their activities under the coordination of president Natale Saluci.

Today and tomorrow more meetings and insights before the departure scheduled for Monday.
It is a preparatory meeting for the creation of a real bridge between Malta and Gela, on the basis of sporting activities aimed at inclusion as happens with the Special Olympics.

Braidotti, who in his career has won numerous national and other titles, got to know Gela last year and has since fallen in love with all the beautiful things Horizon is able to do for sport, inclusion and beauty.
