After the match between Sparta Rotterdam and FC Twente, it was a bit restless on the field. Virgil Misidjan was at odds with Arno Verschueren. Both ruffs received a yellow card. Kenneth Perez tried to explain what happened afterwards.
“It was between Verschueren and Misidjan. And Gijs Smal joined,” says Perez ESPN. “Coincidentally, the two worst FC Twente players of this match. Maybe they should have put a little more energy into the match itself. I think Misidjan is a funny player. He is also someone who wants to make a transfer.”
“But this is also Misidjan”, continues the former player of FC Twente critically. “Just like he was very good last Sunday. But this is also Misidjan, everything fails, every assumption, no threat at all. And Narrow… That’s why FC Twente was so mediocre. The left and right are normally their strength with the backs and the wingers. That’s why I find it so difficult when people say they can handle a much higher level. Then you have to do this every game. They don’t have that yet.”
