BCPM President Outlines Club’s Plans for the Coming Season: Focus on Ecology, Inclusion, and Competitions

During the general assembly on Friday June 16, the president of the Badminton-club du Pays de Morlaix (BCPM), Min Hong-Stéphan, reappointed, painted a portrait of a club which, with more than 90 licensees , has regained its pre-covid workforce. He presented the three main axes of the association for the coming season: ecology (recycling of shuttlecocks, cleaning of a beach as in May 2023); inclusion, by renewing partnerships with structures welcoming people with disabilities; participation in more competitions.

Bring recreation to local competitions

Already present in the departmental championship by teams, the club wishes to bring teams and individuals towards more tournaments, even outside the department, like that of Alençon (Orne) in mid-June: “Our objective is also to encourage leisure to participate in weekdays or weekends, over half a day, in tournaments against local clubs. These are, in addition, great moments of cohesion and conviviality,” added Min Hong Stéphan.
