Moonton and Dentsu Indonesia Collaborate for MPL ID S12: A New Era in the Esports Industry

The Moonton x Dentsu Indonesia collaboration is here at MPL ID S12.

Dentsu is a gaming and esports marketing pioneer in partnership with PT Monster Entertainment Indonesia from Moonton Shanghai Technology, a software company and developer of the game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and the Indonesian Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) esports tournament.

The signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in order to support and grow the esports ecosystem in Indonesia was held on Wednesday (21/6) at Cinepolis Cinema Senayan Park, Central Jakarta.

The purpose of signing the MoU is to establish efforts or steps to make esports more attractive to brands and advertisers, both from the industry concerned and industries outside of esports.

Welcoming the collaboration between Moonton and Dentsu Indonesia in MPL ID S12, Martinus Manurung as Head of Business Development for Moonton Esports Indonesia stated that the new partnership between Moonton and Dentsu is a new history in the esports industry in Indonesia, bringing fresh air to MPL Indonesia.

“This is a new history for the esports industry in Indonesia with the establishment of an official collaboration between one of the largest marketing agency companies in the world and the number one game development company in Indonesia,” said Martinus.

“In the future, we will jointly research and look further at what opportunities Dentsu Indonesia can do and how Moonton supports this to popularize esports and have a positive impact on the esports industry and community in Indonesia.”

The signing of the MoU between Moonton and Dentsu also provides fresh air for MPL Indonesia, apart from being Dentsu Indonesia’s esports partner, Indonesia’s number one Mobile Legends: Bang Bang league is also an advertising solution for the media industry in general through the Dentsu Indonesia channel.

Representing Dentsu Indonesia, Laode Hartanto as Chief Growth Officer expressed great hopes from the partnership with Moonton in MPL ID S12.
