On the 8th, the opening ceremony of the National High School Baseball Championship East/West Tokyo Tournament was held at Jingu Stadium (Shinjuku Ward). Under the cloudy sky, the players marched into the stadium with serious expressions and pledged their best performance. The ceremony was returned to the format before the new coronavirus disaster, and all the players marched for the first time in four years.
