All on track in the Real Madrid to start taking their first steps towards the 2023/24 academic year. Carlo Ancelotti’s pupils will arrive tomorrow at Valdebebas to undergo their first pre-season training session, although not all of them will be available.
The idea was to have only those who have not been called up by their teams after the end of the season with the club, but there are those who do not see that as an option. In fact, the newly landed Arda Güler has asked to start tomorrow, July 10, with his preseason. The 18-year-old could return later as he had been playing for Turkey in the last selection window.
The schedule is very marked: tomorrow Monday, from 9:00the players under the orders of Ancelotti will pass the pertinent medical examinations in addition to having his first summer meeting with the Italian coach. After all the morning process, the first session is scheduled at 5:30 p.m.. It will be the only day that consists of a single training session, since the idea is to have double training sessions from the same Tuesday, July 11.
There will only be a week difference between the first recruits and those who are yet to arrive, because the rest of internationals will be incorporated in a staggered way until July 19, the date on which the rest will finish joining the squad and they will travel to the United States to start the American tour. There they will train in the UCLA University (The Angels).
The first friendly match of the summer will take place in the Los Angeles city on July 23, against Milan; the second will be on the 26th against Manchester United in Houston; the third meeting will be on the 29th against Barça in Dallas; and finally Juventus on August 2 in Orlando.
