In the first half of the year, the Tax Administration Service (SAT) directly awarded 185 contracts representing an amount of 766 million 826 thousand pesos, according to the Compranet portal.
The 185 contracts awarded are equivalent to 81 percent of all the services contracted by the agency during the reference period, most of them for maintenance tasks or supply of materials.
Also noteworthy are contracts for purified water, purchase of equipment for dissemination campaigns for the Annual Declaration and fumigation of SAT offices in the interior of the country. The most onerous agreement was with Microsoft for cloud storage, product licensing and digital support for around 744 million 391 thousand pesos.
Some of the services acquired with this company were the Azure platform, which allows applications to be run on virtual machines, and a premium support package which includes preventive maintenance, repair reports, among other aspects.
Said contract started a couple of months ago and will expire until May 15, 2024, according to Compranet.
