For veterans, 1st place in basketball, 2nd place in football
Jelgava sportsmen won 1st place in basketball and 2nd place in football in the 60th sports games of Latvian Municipal Sports Veterans – Senior Municipalities.
The Jelgava men’s basketball team won 1st place in the age group “35+”. Jānis Tiltiņš, Gatis Justovičs, Įrts Pommers, Įrts Hauks, Edgars Krūmiņš, Ivars Strēlis, Artis Linde, Oskars Jēkabsons, Edgars Rumpis and Kaspars Vilcāns played in the team.
Jelgava’s men’s football team, on the other hand, won 2nd place in mini football in the age group “50+”. Ivan Ivanov, Sergej Kotov, Vyacheslav Razdorskikh, Vladimir Celousov, Rimants Stopis, Argil Soloveiko, Vitaly Omelyusik, Sergej Dorofeev, Igor Nikolaev, Valery Bogdan, Maris Becher and Vitaly Kuskov played in the team.
