The artist died on July 1, being fired by his close relatives at a funeral held in his honor on July 10.

Kuri was recognized for creating several works that today have become a classic, such as “Gatchaman: The Movie”, known in Chile as “Fuerza G”, “Meteor” (Speed ​​Race) and “Sam, the King of Judo”, the latter is currently airing on the screen of Senpai TV. He was also a producer of series like “Samurai Pizza Cats” y “Tekkaman Blade II”.
