The artist died on July 1, being fired by his close relatives at a funeral held in his honor on July 10.
This news was released on Wednesday by Tatsunoko Productionswhere he was co-founder with his brothers Tatsuo Yoshida and Kenji Yoshida, and served as CEO from 1987 to 2005.
Kuri was recognized for creating several works that today have become a classic, such as “Gatchaman: The Movie”, known in Chile as “Fuerza G”, “Meteor” (Speed Race) and “Sam, the King of Judo”, the latter is currently airing on the screen of Senpai TV. He was also a producer of series like “Samurai Pizza Cats” y “Tekkaman Blade II”.
