Oklahoma City Thunder Extends Head Coach’s Contract in Multi-Year Deal

The club’s statement did not reveal details of the new contract, but indicated that it is a multi-year deal.

The 38-year-old specialist has been working in the organization since 2014 and until 2019 led the Oklahoma City Blue of the NBA G League. He became the head coach of the Thunder in November 2020, replacing Billy Donovan.

In the past season, the Oklahoma City team finished the regular season with a record of 40-42, improving the record of the previous season by 16 wins. “Thunder” lost to Minnesota “Timberwolves” in the decisive battle for entry into the playoffs.
