Basketball cup winner Bayern Munich has brought back the American Devin Booker.
As the club announced on Monday, the 32-year-old power forward is coming from Fenerbahce Istanbul and has signed a contract until 2025. Booker had already played for Bayern between 2016 and 2019.
“It feels like I’m coming home,” said Booker, who has played 113 games in the Bundesliga (BBL) for Munich so far and was able to celebrate the German championship in 2018 and 2019: “I always knew that I was still return to Bayern one day – the only question was when. Now is the perfect moment.”
The new Bayern coach Pablo Laso was also happy about the fourth new signing of the summer.
“He gives us versatility and at the same time is someone who knows the city, the club and the culture. So he will adapt quickly. He’s a great addition to our squad and I’m sure our fans will love to see him again,” said the Spaniard.
