Matteo Berrettini Opens Up About His Tennis Journey and Overcoming Injury Setbacks

In a long interview given to Corriera Dela Serra, Matteo Berrettini talks about his career and also about his new goals after a rather difficult period linked to his injuries.

« My parents, who were and are members of a tennis club, put a racket in my hands, with rubber balls attached, when I was three years old. But I didn’t like it, I wanted to do judo, martial arts. Then it was my brother who convinced me that tennis was more fun than pure effort. At the age of eight, I picked up my racquet and never put it down again. My grandfather, at eighty, still plays, it’s really a family disease”.
