Jannik Sinner celebrated his first Masters title in Toronto.

His eighth title on the ATP Tour was also his greatest triumph. The 21-year-old South Tyrolean was crowned Masters champion against Alex de Minaur. And when you look at his trophy collection, you notice: Sinner is particularly successful on hard court!

Since 2020, Sinner has won seven of his eight titles on the underground, which likes to make shoes squeak. Jannik Sinner won a title on sand. In 2022 at the 250 tournament he defeated the future king of clay Carlos Alcaraz in the final for many. In addition, there was the victory at the NextGen Finals 2019, also on hard court, there in the hall. And again against Alex de Minaur. Circle closed, not just the roof!

The Italian number one on hardcourt also achieved his three other finals, as well as the three collected Challenger titles. However, it gets more exciting when you look at the Grand Slams. Sinner recently achieved his best result in one of the four major tournaments with the semifinals in Wimbledon. Certainly no coincidence, but much more proof of the ongoing development of his game.

Sinner knows how to dose and understand his powerful game better every year. Currently, the development with the first Masters title and a new career high in the ranking shows the next step. Successes on all surfaces are already available. So it remains exciting to see which sub-grounds will be added to Jannik Sinner’s list of titles.
