The fourth and last Judo Grand Prix of the season will be held in Zagreb (Croatia). No less than 23 Azzurri have taken advantage of the opportunity of free participation with a maximum of two per category. In the men’s field, the spotlights are on Simone Aversa, Angelo Pantano (-60 kg), Elios Manzi, Matteo Piras (-66 kg), Edoardo Mella, Luigi Centracchio (-73 kg), Kenny Komi Bedel, Salvatore D’Arco (-81 kg), Nicholas Mungai (-90 kg), Enrico Bergamelli, Daniele Accogli (-100 kg), Sylvain Lorenzo Agro, Kwadjo Anani (+100 kg).
Among the women, however, the tricolor will defend Martina Castagnola (-52 kg), Veronica Toniolo, Nicolle D’Isanto (-57 kg), Giulia Caggiano, Flavia Favorini (-63 kg), Irene Pedrotti, Raffaella Lelia Ciano (-70 kg), Linda Politi (-78 kg), Asya Tavano, Erica Simonetti (+78 kg). The rehearsals will take place from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th August at the Arena Zagreb. For each day of the competition, the blocking of the finals is scheduled from 17.00.
