Wilda Siti Nurfadhilah conveyed a touching message when announcing goodbye from the Indonesian Women’s Volleyball Team.
Through her personal Instagram page, Wednesday (16/8), Wilda said goodbye after 13 years of strengthening the Indonesian Women’s Volleyball National Team.
“Finally, thank you Merah Putih, 13 years without a break together, let’s say goodbye. The spirit of the successors of Merah Putih. Please take the good and ignore the bad. To be honest, nowadays the mentality of athletes is tested not only on the field but in other areas such as human words that does not humanize humans,” wrote Wilda quoted from her Instagram page.
“But it’s okay, my message is one that must be remembered: let them be busy with their fingers and mouths and we are busy with being human beings who want and can be useful for anything with a positive heart and mind. Roughly speaking, they are busy blaspheming us, busy collecting rupiah coffers, wallets We are also happy. While we are still breathing, let’s joke and be happy. Even if there is good and constructive criticism, please accept it, if it damages your mentality in some way, let’s ignore it,” Wilda added.
Playing in SEA V Leagues 2023 series 2 in Thailand on Sunday (13/8) was Wilda’s last appearance with the Indonesian Women’s Volleyball Team.
Wilda expressed her gratitude to the Indonesian people who had prayed and supported her while defending the Indonesian Women’s Volleyball Team.
“Thank you to all Indonesians, the real humans who sincerely prayed and said well for me and the team. To all the management and coaching staff, thank you for all your knowledge. Hopefully, the Indonesian Volleyball Team can get more attention and become big next year,” wrote Wilda.
“Please note that my beloved PBVSI, at least tomorrow, don’t enter the name again, yes, I will be penalized later, I’m confused,” wrote Wilda.

Wilda will become one of the most senior players in the Indonesian Women’s Volleyball National Team in 2023, besides Agustin Wulandhari who is already 32 years old.
This 28-year-old player has defended the Indonesian Women’s Volleyball National Team since 2011 with a series of achievements for the Red and White.
This volleyball athlete from Bandung also advised his colleagues to keep up the enthusiasm and ignore those who could only make negative comments.
“For all my friends who are in the process, cheer up! Enjoy the process, believe it or not volleyball can turn you into what you want, and change your life much better than before if done positively,” wrote Wilda.
