Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) and Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. will announce the e-sports league “eBASEBALL Professional A League” (Spirieague) 2023, which will start in November with the title of the mobile game “Professional Baseball Spirits A”. We will inform the special supporters of the season that the appointment of the Nogizaka baseball club has been decided. In addition, Nogizaka46 “Never say never” sung by members of the Nogizaka baseball club has been selected as the tournament support song for the 2023 season of Spirit League.
The Nogizaka Baseball Club is a baseball-loving member of Nogizaka46, Shiori Kubo, Hazuki Mukai, Saya Kanagawa, Asuka Kuromi, and Yuna Shibata. During the league period, we will appear in the e-Pennant Race and the e-Nippon Series to liven up the tournament together. “Never say never”, which was decided as the tournament support song, is a song recorded in Nogizaka46’s 32nd single “People dream twice” released in March 2023.

The first hurdle of the 12 teams joining test, the “Online Preliminary Match for the Team Representative” will be held from 15:00 on September 3 (Sun) to 14:59 on September 10 (Sun). The top qualifiers of each team will proceed to the “online interview” held on September 23 (Sat) and 24 (Sun). Eight people who passed the online interview will proceed to the “final screening” on October 7th (Sat) and 8th (Sun), and up to 3 people from each team (2 teams with continuous contract players) Team representative players to decide.
