The United States advanced to the semifinals FIBA World Cup 2023 or the 2023 Basketball World Cup. This certainty was obtained after the United States defeated Italy with a score of 100-63 in the quarter-finals.

However, these points could not prevent Italy from losing 63-100 to the United States.
United States player Mikal Bridges appeared to be a star by becoming the player who contributed the most points for his team with a score of 24 points.
This victory makes the United States qualify for the semifinals of the FIBA World Cup 2023. The semifinals of the FIBA World Cup 2023 will be held in the Philippines on Friday (8/9).
