The deadline is fast approaching for the Book 1, the company’s first signature shoe. Devin Booker designed by Nike and expected for 2024. First images of the pair were revealed in July, with a model, as expected, leaning towards an Air Force 1 inspiration but also from the Kobe line, of which the Phoenix back is a fan.
While a first black version had surfaced, it is now an orange color, called “Chapter One”, with which Devin Booker went on a presentation tour, as we can see in the clip below. In addition to J. Cole and Nike co-founder Phil Knight, Devin Booker notably allowed Drake to make an appearance at his Glendale concert with this Book 1 on his feet.
We can see two shades of orange, including a lighter one to highlight the “Swoosh”, a print resembling snakeskin as well as the “Chapter One” inscription on the heel.
