A flash from Mullici – a player who made the difference in Serie D, let alone in Promotion – is worth the second consecutive victory in the championship for Asd Città di Casale which is worth the record with full points in the group.
This home debut in the championship with Momo was not easy for Mr. Barbin’s boys who had to leave behind Trino’s bad misstep in the Italian Cup, a heavy 4-0 that the fans didn’t like at all.
This is also why the Nerostellati started out convinced and broke the deadlock in the quarter of an hour with a great crossing shot from Mullici deployed as a central striker: it will be the 1-0 that will decide the match and it will never change again.
Asd Città di Casale plays well but in fits and starts, two bursts in the first part of the first half and in the central phase of the second half when they deserve to double their lead but don’t close out the match: in the last quarter of an hour, in fact, Momo takes the field and almost manages to equalize.
In the end the result was fair, but Mr. Barbin will still have to work to correct certain drops in intensity and tension that appeared over the course of the ninety minutes.

Second half – 16′ Dangerous counterattack by Momo, Albino anticipates the conclusion of the red and white attacker; 18′ Great shot by Miceli from the edge of the area at the culmination of an excellent team effort, Nojelli saves himself in the corner; 20′ Albino’s throw-in for Margaglio is a sure shot, Nojelli gets there with his fingers and sends it to the corner; 23′ Nerostellate protests for an alleged handball by Rivetti in the area, which the referee says is fine; 29′ Momo is close to equalizing with an imperious header from Penna following a corner kick; 43′ Casale could close out the match: Zanellati’s escape on the right, perfect cross for Mullici, header just over. With some mental worries it ends 1-0.
