There’s no two without three. Andrea Capobianco, as announced by the FIP, returns to be the coach of the Italian women’s national team for the third time.
The 1966 Campania coach will therefore re-embrace the Italian team, succeeding Lino Lardo, a coach who certainly did not experience a successful period with the Italy of Zandalasini and his teammates.

The Technical Commissioner of the Women’s National Team is Andrea Capobianco, former Head Coach of the Azzurre from 2015 to 2017. 24 matches on the Azzurre’s bench for Capobianco, Team Leader of the Women’s National 3×3 Open at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
From 2015 to 2017, then in the 2019 and 2020 seasons (where Covid arrived, ed.) and now from the end of 2023: we’ll see if this time Andrea Capobianco will be able to culminate his period as technical commissioner perhaps with great satisfaction at continental level.
