Benjamin Gautier insists that the tests are “accessible to all” : “It’s a competition but it remains very open. There will be a ranking by points which will take into account the sporting events but also the other challenges. We want a moment of sharing, of discovery. »

The site surrounded by nature, crisscrossed by trails, is the ideal setting. The circuits will wind around the Mas Chaban lake, will also pass through the village of Cruzeau which will host the traditional bread festival that day but also the Aventure parc multi-activity park.

“These are two tourist facilities that the CDC sold in 2023 to private individuals. Through this event, we want to promote the site of the Haute-Charente lakes, highlight this natural territory which is full of assets, at the same time a destination for hiking, walks, swimming, a place where green tourism is is anchored. It is obviously not trivial to take the raid through Cruzeau and Aventure Parc”underlines Benoît Savy, the president of Charente limousine who adds that the event is organized in partnership with the Communauté de communes Ouest Limousin and Porte Océane du Limousin, located in Haute-Vienne. “We communicate together about the event”.

“We need volunteers to supervise the event”recognizes Benjamin Gautier, who launches an appeal: “Interested people can contact me at the headquarters of the community of communes in Confolens. »

Children under 16 can also participate in a mini-nature raid alone or accompanied by a parent. Two age categories are open: 6/10 years and 11/15 years. A catering area will be provided on site by the Auberge des Lacs, the Massignac restaurant.

1. The nature raid starts at 9 a.m. Departure from the place of the war memorial in Massignac. Registration possible on site. 20 euros per team of two, 5 euros for children.
