While the score was already 2 to 0 in favor of the “Wings”, Bedard almost scored a beautiful goal. The latter literally made fun of defender Simon Edvinsson with a feint of which only he has the secret. James Reimer, however, had the last word, stopping number 98’s shot with his right pad.

In the match, striker Michael Rasmussen scored two goals. Quebecer David Perron also participated in the party with two assists.

The Avalanche got hot

After leading 3-1 with just over three minutes remaining, the Colorado Avalanche conceded two goals in 2:24 against the Dallas Stars. The match went to overtime, but everything ended well for Nathan MacKinnon’s teammates, as they won 4-3 thanks to a goal from Oskar Olausson. Former Montreal Canadiens Corey Schueneman collected an assist on the winning net.

Speaking of CH alumni, Artturi Lehkonen got on the scoresheet, in his team’s third goal, with an assist. Jonathan Drouin was shut out, but finished the game with a differential of +1, three shots on goal and a playing time of 18:02.

Ducks comeback

Finally, the game between the Anaheim Ducks and the Arizona Coyotes was full of twists and turns. The latter took a lead of 3 to 2 then 4 to 3, but they failed to protect their lead. The teammates of Leo Carlsson, the second overall pick in the last draft, won 5-4.

The Swede also had an assist on Ryan Strome’s goal, which was his second of the match. The 30-year-old forward was elected first star of the game. Josh Doan, the son of Coyotes legend Shane Doan, collected two assists in his team’s defeat.
