Regarding the loss to the South Korean team in the final, Chinese Taipei team head coach Wu Sixian said: “The main difference today is that the opponent’s pitcher’s pitch was more difficult to hit than last time, and our attack was unable to be consistent and we failed to score, which is a pity. But we still have to accept the result.”

Ryu Chung-yi, the head coach of the South Korean team, said after the game: “Today’s game was difficult, but I am very happy that we won. I am very happy to win the Asian Games gold medal again.”
