After a mediocre 16 out of 30, Club Brugge is facing important weeks in the competition after the international break. There are top matches against Antwerp and Union on the program and there are also matches in the Conference League.
Ronny Deila is now in danger of not being able to take part in those confrontations with his strongest team. Absolute strongman Andreas Skov Olsen has ended up in the doldrums. He had to miss the match against Bodo/Glimt. The Dane played against Standard on Sunday, but he was visibly in pain.
Deila revealed afterwards that Skov Olsen has been playing with an injection for a while. Despite this, he was given the green light to join the Denmark national team. The wing attacker has now had to drop out due to an injury. He is now returning to Bruges to continue his recovery there. Blauw-zwart fervently hopes that he can be back soon.
