The representative of the champions Arenosos de Camuy, Ángel Sotomayor, confirmed today, Friday, that the manager and player Dennis Pérez will repeat at the helm of the team in the 2024 season of the Double A Superior Baseball League (LBSDA).
Pérez debuted this year as a leader, taking over the reins of Camuy in the middle of the Champions Carnival.
”Dennis Pérez has to continue leading our team and continue with the winning formula. We will continue like this,” said Sotomayor.
With Pérez at the helm, Camuy achieved its first championship after almost seven decades of waiting. He was the first manager and player to win a championship since 2008, the year Nick Ortiz won the title with the Cidra Braves.
