The Indiana Pacers have exercised their respective options on the rookie contracts of Ben Mathurin and Isaiah Jackson, the Indianapolis franchise confirmed in a statement.
Mathurin, a native of Montreal and the 6th pick of the last 2022 Draft, had an excellent debut in the NBA, being selected in the Best Rookie Quintet 2022 with averages of 16.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists in almost half an hour of play.
For his part, Jackson was chosen in the first round of the 2021 Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers, but was immediately traded to the Pacers that same year. In 63 official games last year he had figures of 7.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per day.
