Kristen Pazik is the wife who won Sheva’s heart, Andriy Shevchenko. A woman who has been involved with sport since childhood. She is in fact the daughter of Mike Pazik, former professional baseball player, pitcher in MLB with the Minnesota Twins from 1975 to 1977, of Polish origin. Kristen was born in Minneapolis on August 11, 1978.
Kristen Pazik jumped toattention of all the sports newspapers in 2006 when her husband moved from the Milan team to London to play for Chelsea. Kristen was pointed out by fans and newspapers as the main reason for the transfer of the Rossoneri favorite because eager to move to England so that her children could learn English. Also adding fuel to the fire in that period was Andriy Shevchenko’s coach at Chelsea, José Mourinho, who during an interview joked: “In my house I’m in charge, while in Andriy’s case, if his wife raises her voice he runs and hides under the bed.”
The memory that many AC Milan fans have of Shevchenko’s wife is not exactly sweet. Who knows with what grain of truth, Kristen Pazik herself was held up as being responsible for Sheva’s departure from Milan to Chelsea. The love story between Shevchenko and Kristen Pazik
As just mentioned, Sheva met his wife at a party in Milan in 2002 and it was love at first sight. After two years of dating, they married in July 2004 on a golf course near Washington. The two do not share religion, as the woman is Catholic, while her husband is Orthodox. The couple had quattro children: Jordan, born on 29 October of the same year as the wedding, Christian, born on 10 November 2006, Oleksandr, born on 1 October 2012 and Rider Gabriel, born on 6 April 2014. A little curiosity: Silvio Berlusconi is the godfather of one of them.
Kristen Pazik is also very followed on social media and on Instagram she has shared many photos of the couple and their beauty familyand supported Ukraine together with the former footballer during the war against Russia.
