Spanish Cadet Super Cup Showcases Judo Talent from Spain, France, and Portugal

Last Saturday, the Spanish Cadet Super Cup was held, an event that was attended by more than five hundred athletes from several autonomous communities in Spain, as well as competitors from France and Portugal. The Judo Club Tadeo participated with three athletes in the Navia pavilion, Vigo

On the one hand, Eneko Cristóbal Sáenz, who competed in the 55 kg category and, unfortunately, lost his first fight without the option of a repechage. On the other hand, Jaime Pinto Neva (55 KG), who had a promising start by winning his first fight, but later lost the next one in the repechage, concluding his participation in the tournament and Darío Soriano Morón (81 KG), one of the Club’s standouts in this Super Cup, which won its first four matches, demonstrating a high level of skill. A merit that was not enough since, in the final, he lost to the representative of Portugal, despite being of Ukrainian origin.

In addition to the athletes, it is relevant to mention the contribution of Juan Carlos Caro López, who participated as a referee in the competition, ensuring a fair and equitable game for all competitors. Tadeo Díaz Ortega accompanied the team in the role of coach, providing support and guidance to the athletes as always.
