Sandoval, 37, was the fourth pick in the draft of the first baseball league in the Middle East and South Asia.

The “Panda” won three World Series championships with the San Francisco Giants in the Major Leagues (2010, 2012 and 2014).
The man from Carabob has 14 years of experience in the MLB, where he recorded 1,279 hits, 262 doubles, 21 triples, 153 home runs, 639 RBIs, 548 runs scored and an average of 278 after 4,609 at-bats. Sandoval attended two All-Star Games.
The Creole will return to professional action after 10 months of inactivity. The native of Puerto Cabello last played in Mexico with Acereros de Monclova in 2022.
The Middle East league has not yet revealed its official calendar. The Dominicans Robinson Canó and Bartolo Colón, Dennis Phipps, and the Venezuelan Hernán Pérez were selections in the Baseball United draft.
