KSC Bushido Hamburg Judoka Impress at State Capital Schwerin Tournament

Harburg. The judoka from KSC Bushido Hamburg used the holidays for a sporting excursion to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, more precisely to the state capital Schwerin. Among the 400 judoka who came, most of whom came from the new federal states, the KSC judoka showed an impressive performance at a high level.

The fights for the coveted medals ranged from U9 to U15 and lasted a full 10 hours. The judoka from the south of Hamburg returned home with 2 silver medals, 4 bronze medals and a respectable 5th place.

In the U9, Jenna Loreen Geerdts secured 3rd place. In the U11, Timofii Bovkun achieved 2nd place, while Max Keller, Anes Redjepi took 3rd place and Lukas Kocks achieved a strong 5th place.

In the U13, Dennis Keller took third place, and in the U15, Xenia Scheit won the silver medal.

This competition was an excellent preparation for the Hamburg team championships, which will take place on November 4th in Tangstedt, as announced by head coach Bianca Geerdts.
