The Ampuis badminton club (Rhône) organized its veterans doubles tournament on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 November. Two badists from Plumes d’Ardèche-Nord went there. Saturday, in men’s doubles, Yoan Croze accompanied by Mathieu Lovy from the Yssingeaux club (Haute-Loire) won a single match, insufficient to get out of their group. Audrey Finet, who played with Noémie Chantre, from the Yssingeaux club, did not win any matches despite two defeats in three tight sets.
On Sunday, the two Plumes d’Ardèche-Nord players, Audrey Finet and Yoan Croze, met together to play mixed. After a largely lost first match, they managed to win all their matches until the semi-final and reached second place on the podium after losing 19-21, 14-21.
Next week, it’s time for the young people from the club who will travel to the bi-departmental tournament in Bourg-de-Péage.
