LaMelo Ball in Conflict with NBA Over Neck Tattoo: “LF” Inscription Engraved

the essential Charlotte Hornets player LaMelo Ball is in conflict with the American association over the inscription engraved on his neck. The latter decided on Friday November 17 that he should now cover her.

LaMelo Ball will no longer be able to use part of his body for self-promotion. The young Californian player got a new tattoo below his left ear a few weeks ago: “LF” is written there. This is actually a reference to his middle name: “LaFrance”.

Except that these two letters also constitute the name of his luxury clothing brand, violating the regulations of the National Basketball Association (NBA) which refuses any visible advertising on the bodies of athletes. In a statement to ESPN, NBA spokesperson Tim Frank said: “Players are prohibited from displaying commercial logos or company insignia on their body or in their hair during games. We Let’s try to apply the rule reasonably, taking into account players’ efforts to express themselves in a non-commercial manner. But LaMelo Ball’s neck tattoo is a clear violation of the rule and, therefore, it is required to cover it up.”
