Norderstedt (em) In November, the judoka from TuRa Harksheide were represented at various tournaments and were able to shine in these competitions: Hamburg team championship U18 female 4.11. in the Hamburg State Performance Center. The judoka won 1st place – but there was only one opposing team, TH Eilbeck, which we defeated 4:2. Team: Nieke Südbrock, Annemarie Kalbe, Kea Knoll, Jule Jacobs and two third-party starters from KSC Bushido Hamburg. The team is therefore qualified to take part in the North German Team Championships on November 19th. in Bremen.
Hamburg individual championship for men and women also in the Hamburg State Performance Center. Up to 57 kg Alyssa Göhring, 2nd place; up to 73kg Yehor Kaluhin, 3rd place; up to 73kg Marcel Fürtig, 5th place. These placed athletes can all compete at the North German Individual Championships on November 25th. take part in Oldenburg/Holstein.
Federal open screening tournament for female U17s in Holzwickede on November 11th: Up to 52kg Annemarie Kalbe, 7th place; up to 52kg Jule Jacobs, 9th place. This is a good result in national comparison. Both won twice and lost their other two fights very narrowly.
Federal open screening tournament for the male U20m in Mannheim also on November 11th: Up to 73kg Marcel Fürtig, unfortunately lost once; but he is the younger generation of the U20 and still has 2 years ahead of him in the juniors. He competed there with the Hamburg state selection.
Anniversary tournament of the JG Sachsenwald 11.11. in Bergedorf. For the 60th anniversary of the JGS, we were invited to the tournament alongside two other guest teams, so a total of 4 teams including the host. A team consisted of a light and a heavy boy, as did the girls in the age groups U11/14/18/ü18 – a total of 16 participants. Unfortunately the wave of illness hit and there were 5 cancellations. Nevertheless, we were able to fill 10 of 16 classes.
In the semi-finals, the TuRa lost to the hosts JGS – the athletes won bronze against WSV Concordia. But the focus was not on fighting, but rather on the judo friendship, which was cultivated afterwards over a barbecue together.
All in all, it was a hefty program and things will continue lively over the coming weekends:
